Le vide-grenier du dimanche. Deux clichés du photographe américain David Alan Harvey (b.1944). Il s'initie très jeune à la photographie, dès l'âge de onze ans, à la suite d'une longue convalescence après avoir contracté la polio.

À partir de 1969, après l'obtention de son diplôme à la Missouri School of Journalism, il commence à travailler pour divers magazines dont le Topeka Capital-Journal, dans le Kansas, puis pour le National Geographic. Il rejoint la légendaire agence Magnum en 1993.
