Voici deux oeuvres de l'anglais David Inshaw (b.1943). 

Deux ans après la découverte par le public de The badminton game, le tableau qui l'a rendu célèbre, il crée en 1975 le groupe The Brotherhood of Ruralists (d'abord nommé Broadheath Brotherhood) avec cinq autres artistes.

I am not interested in making photographic representations of the world around me, but in creating a pictorial language thaat can express my thoughts and feelings in a poetic and symbolic way. It is a way of creating meaning and beauty in a world that can sometimes seems empty and meaningless.
